Upon arrival and exiting the terminal, the car rental office was very easy to locate. I was greeted by a member of the team who directed me to the next available clerk to deal with my reservation. The process of completing the relevant forms and payment process was simple and stress free. The whole team was professional from start to finish. I was then provided with a road map, a quick check over of the car to ensure any previous damage were noted if any and I was off to explore the island.

The return process was also simple and hassle free provided you followed the information leaflet given at the start.

An overall great experience from Stoutes Car Rental who I would definitely use on my next visit ti the island.

This was my first car rental experience, and Stoutes made it a great one! Booking was quick and easy through their website, and their staff were incredibly responsive and helpful via email. Collection and drop-off at the airport were seamless, and the car was clean, arrived with a full tank, and came with a thorough inspection and photo documentation emailed to us immediately.

We rented a Suzuki Swift for a week, and it was impressively fuel-efficient—we refueled on a Thursday after collecting it on Sunday, at which point we had about a quarter tank left. One tip: the Swift is quite low, so if you plan to explore Barbados' less touristy side roads or have several passengers/luggage, you may want to consider a higher vehicle to avoid some of the larger humps.

Initially, we chose Stoutes because of their affordability, but after such a smooth and commendable experience, their service is definitely what will keep us coming back. Highly recommend!
